Garrett gets in the ring, leading the crowd in a chorus of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” before waiting for his opponent.
Introduction Promo:
The video footage shown on the screen is old, something from the 80’s. We see a man who looks like something most people would think of when thinking of wrestling: a big meaty guy in bright colors and making an ass out of himself. This footage skips before we hear the song “We’re Not Gonna Take It” by Twisted Sister. The camera then comes up on a den full of 80’s nostalgia, movie posters and toys and fun things. Sitting on the couch in a Ghostbusters t-shirt and jeans is the man from the video. He looks rather happy about this, hands behind his head.
Man: You have no idea who I am. In the 80’s when you were watching guys like Hulk Hogan, I was fighting to make a name for myself. I would have been Daniel Bryan had there been such a thing back then. But you know, I’m not bitter. I mean, I was bitter. For a long time. I did a lot of bad things. I forgot people I shoulda cared about.
He shifts and puts his hands together, resting his head on his fist.
Man: That’s not the problem anymore. I’m here to take care of myself, my family. Most of all, I’m coming to the ICWA to have a great time! My name is Garrett Richards, guys, and love me or hate me, I’m here to rock.
